Happy New Year, F-List!
I'm here to offer some shameless plugging because that's just how I roll.
As some of you may have seen posted in a few of the ad comms, we at Pranksters are looking for some specific characters! See below:
Pranksters is an AU MWPP game set in the Marauders' seventh year at Hogwarts. The game is a social one and, while the Dark Lord and his followers do exist, the game is more focused on what happens when you shut hundreds of teenagers into a castle together with the stresses of academics, friendships, enemies and loves. On top of the every day hiccups that come with being a teenager, there's also the Prank War raging inside the castle. Started by the Marauders at the end of their sixth year, the pranks have spread across all of the houses. Even more than that, the castle—with a mind of its own—is practicing its sense of humor and getting in on the pranking, too! So far we've had an ale-flooded Great Hall, students sprouting lion manes, animated house mascots running rampant through the corridors and many, many more.
The players over atprankstersmods have a few wants, though, which is where we hope you'll come in!
First of all, we are in need of more Ravenclaws and Hufflepuffs. Gryffindor and Slytherin seem to be filling up more quickly, and we'd love to have more students in the other houses. Gryffindor is currently the only nearly-full Quidditch roster and they need some more competition! And Gryffindor has been kind of dominating in these prank wars so we'd love to see more students in other houses defending their house pride!
More specifically, though, we need more pureblood traditionalists and future-DEs. We'd really love to see a Lucius Malfoy, Rodolphus Lestrange, Rabastan Lestrange and Arsenius Avery. Severus Snape would especially like to see Lucius and/or Arsenius to steer him toward the Death Eaters and the Lestranges would have plenty of plot points with the trio of Black Sisters (as would Lucius!).
Hestia Jones would also like to see her older brother Daniel Jones, a seventh year Ravenclaw, for sibling-shaped shenanigans.
Anyway, we hope we'll see some of you over at the game! All of the players are extremely welcoming and like to have a good time IC and OOC. Drama-free, full of character-driven and game-wide plot, it's a great place to call home!

THIS IS TOTALLY AN ORIGINAL MEME THAT NO ONE HAS EVER DONE BEFORE except not really because I stole it from all the RM peeps.

Just before the end-of-year festivities in their sixth year, the Marauders set into motion a series of events that would set the tone for the following year. While they claim it was purely incidental, and therefore escaped any risk of expulsion, the students of Hogwarts are pretty sure they know that what happened last year was definitely intentional. After all, it was only the Slytherin house that was affected by the charmed bubbles in the baths that turned their skin green and hair silver. Intentional or not, that day began the soon-to-be infamous Prank Wars. September 1, 1977. The first day of school, the Marauders' final year. James Potter has inexplicably been named Head Boy and Lily Evans has stepped up to fill the role of Head Girl. The Slytherins are prepared to launch their first attack of the new school year at the Marauders and the Gryffindor house and the Hufflepuffs and Ravenclaws are forming their own allegiances. Which side will you be on when the food starts flying across the Great Hall? Pranksters is an AU MWPP roleplaying game set at Hogwarts in 1977. While Voldemort exists, the war outside of the school is not a main focus of the game. Most canon characters are currently open for play. | |
